I'd like make a simulation of a rc wall ( width :1600mm high:3200mm thickness:200mm),how many MVlEM element can be divided, and according to what principle.thanks :D

Take a look at the references below for modeling approach using MVLEM.

Orakcal, K., Wallace, J. W., and Conte, J. P. (2004). “Flexural modeling of reinforced concrete walls: Model attributes.” ACI Struct. J., 101(5), 688–698.

Orakcal, K., and Wallace, J. W. (2006). “Flexural modeling of reinforced concrete walls: Experimental verification.” ACI Struct. J., 103(2), 196–206.

Dear doctor
i have read your dissertation(Analytical Modeling of Cyclic Shear - Flexure Interaction in Reinforced Concrete Structural Walls)and when i simulate one RC wall(axial compression ratio:0.1,width :1000mm high:2000mm thickness:125mm),both of parameters were set according to your paper .But final results of simulation were obvious different from text results.Could you give me some precious advices by email(yuxin1993@icloud.com)Thank you very much.
