I ran into the same problem. I solved it by going into the Control Panel -> User Accounts and turning off "User Account Control".

Does that mean that there will be no SMA material in the next version of OpenSees?silvia wrote:the author has asked to remove that material from the opensees library.
Do you know the reason why they have asked to remove it? I ask because I would like to know if they have asked to remove it because they have discovered a bug (or something else) that would be of concern for people using the SMA material in the current version.
