can i use shell element commond in 2dframe?

hi, how do i do modeling steel shear wall for the tension output in plate of the wall? thanks

please guid me which one of material must be using for steel plate shear wall and how to modeling section and element with opensees.I tried to analizing steel wall to show the tension on it.

thanks.i used shell element but my problem modeling stiffner in middle of wall. may be tell me your offer to modeling steel wall with stiffner
